Winchester Police Investigating Spate of Vehicle Break-Ins in Alresford

Police are appealing for witnesses following a series of vehicle break-ins in the Alresford area during the early hours of yesterday morning.

The incidents are believed to have occurred between 2:00am and 3:00am on Tuesday, 5 August, targeting vehicles parked on Mitford Road and Robertson Road. In each reported case, suspects gained access to vehicles and stole personal belongings from within.

According to Hampshire Police, three individuals are suspected to be involved in the thefts — one woman and two men — all reportedly wearing tracksuits with reflective features.

Suspect Descriptions:
• Female suspect: Approximately 20 years old, around 6ft tall
• Male suspects: Both believed to be around 16 years old, also approximately 6ft tall, wearing satchel-style bags across their chests

Police have launched an investigation and are conducting CCTV enquiries in the area today in an effort to identify those responsible.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area at the time, or who may have relevant CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage that could assist their enquiries.
