Dash Cam Footage Requested After Serious Incident at Ruby Road Junction

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a serious road traffic collision in Southampton earlier this week.

The incident occurred shortly after 11:00am on Monday, 4 August, at the junction of Ruby Road and Deacon Road. It involved a black Nissan Juke and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a man in his 70s, sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers from Hampshire Police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have relevant dash cam or CCTV footage to come forward.
