Police Seek Public’s Help After £2,000 Theft at Southampton Asda

Police are urging the public to come forward with information after two men reportedly stole more than £2,000 worth of goods from a Southampton supermarket.

The incident occurred at around 10:40pm on Monday, 3 November, at the Asda store on Portland Terrace. According to officers, two men entered the shop, selected high-value items and left without making any attempt to pay.

Investigators have released images of the individuals they wish to speak to in connection with the theft and are appealing for assistance from anyone who may recognise them.

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said the cooperation of the public could prove vital: “If you recognise these individuals, or have any information that could assist our investigation, please get in touch.”

Police continue to review CCTV and conduct enquiries as the investigation progresses.
