Police Seek Owner of Recovered Hydraulic Crane Found in New Forest
Further to an earlier post about suspected stolen tools, officers from the Rural Crime Taskforce are also appealing for information after recovering a hydraulic crane believed to have been stolen.
The machinery was found in the New Forest area, and police suspect it may have been taken from the surrounding counties. Investigators are now working to trace its rightful owner and reunite them with their property.
In a public appeal, the force said:
“Further to an earlier post, officers from the Rural Crime Taskforce have also recovered a hydraulic crane from the New Forest area. We suspect that this too was stolen from the surrounding area or counties, and are keen to trace the owner and reunite them with it.”
Anyone who recognises the equipment or believes it may belong to them is urged to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 44250482044.
The Rural Crime Taskforce continues to target agricultural theft and recover stolen equipment across Hampshire and the surrounding regions.
