Police Seek Owners of Power Tools Recovered in New Forest

Officers from the Rural Crime Taskforce are appealing for help to trace the owners of several power tools recovered in the New Forest last week.

The recovered items include two STIHL chainsaws, a STIHL hedge trimmer attachment, a Bosch grinder, and several boxed sets of tools and drills. Police believe the equipment may have been stolen and are eager to reunite the items with their rightful owners.

Photographs of the tools have been shared by officers as part of the investigation. Anyone who recognises the items, or believes they may belong to them, is urged to come forward.

A spokesperson for the Rural Crime Taskforce said:

“We’re keen to trace the owners and reunite them with their property. Please have a look at the photographs and let us know if you recognise any of the tools. If you think any of them are yours, or you know who they belong to, please get in touch with us.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 44250482044.

Police are reminding residents to mark property, record serial numbers, and report suspicious activity to help deter offenders and assist future recoveries.
