Man charged with six shoplifting offences across Southampton
Officers say the incidents took place at a number of stores in Sholing, Bitterne and Portswood between 11 November and 22 November. The alleged offences involved the theft of almost £700 worth of goods.
Police have charged Thomas Jack Munnoch, 30, of no fixed abode, with six counts of shoplifting. The items allegedly stolen included chocolates and other confectionery, meat products and multipacks of drinks from stores including a Tesco Express, Haskins Garden Centre and a Co-op.
Munnoch was charged last night and has been remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning (23 December).
