Police Release Image After £250 Theft at Southampton Sainsbury’s
Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to following a reported shoplifting incident at Sainsbury’s on Portswood Road, Southampton.
The incident took place between 6.56pm and 7.11pm on Thursday, 11 September, during which around £250 worth of items were reportedly stolen.
Officers are now appealing for information to help identify a man who may have information that could assist their investigation. He is described as mixed race, aged between 35 and 50 years, of medium build, and bald.
A spokesperson for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary said:
“We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.”
Police are also asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, seen suspicious activity in the area at the time, or captured relevant CCTV, mobile phone, or dash cam footage to come forward.
