Police Release CCTV Images After £900 Meat Theft Attempt at Calmore Aldi
Police have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to following an attempted theft of more than £900 worth of meat from Aldi on Salisbury Road, Calmore.
The incident took place between 5.40pm and 6.15pm on Thursday, 9 October, when two men reportedly tried to leave the store without paying for a large quantity of meat products.
Officers from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are appealing for information as part of their investigation.
A spokesperson for the force said:
“We believe the men in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge them, or anyone who knows their identity, to get in touch with us.”
Anyone who witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area, or has CCTV, dash cam or mobile phone footage from the time is urged to contact police by calling 101, quoting incident number 44250460941.
