CCTV Images Released in West End Shoplifting Investigation
Police have now released CCTV images of two men they wish to identify as part of an investigation into a reported shoplifting incident at Haskins Garden Centre on Mansbridge Road, West End.
The incident is believed to have taken place between 12.45pm and 10.05pm on Friday, 10 October, during which around £402.85 worth of tools were reportedly stolen. Items taken included ten pairs of secateurs.
Officers are looking to speak with two men who may have information that could assist their enquiries.
The first man is described as:
• White
• Around 55 years old
• Approximately 5ft 8ins tall
• Wearing shorts, a jacket and a flat cap
• Sporting a tribal-style tattoo on his right calf
The second man is described as:
• White
• Around 60 years old
• Approximately 5ft 8ins tall
• Wearing a black jacket, flat cap, brown shirt and trousers
Police believe the men captured in the released images may be able to help with the investigation and are urging them—or anyone who recognises them—to come forward.
Witnesses or anyone with information, including CCTV, dash cam or mobile phone footage from the area on the day of the incident, are asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 44250512203. Reports can also be submitted online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website.
