Pedestrian in His 80s Seriously Injured in Bursledon Car Collision
A man in his 80s has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision involving two cars at the Tesco Superstore on Hamble Lane in Bursledon.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 12.33pm on Wednesday, 26 November, following reports that a black Lexus, an orange Renault, and a pedestrian had been involved in a crash in the store’s car park.
The pedestrian sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. The driver of the Lexus was also transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses. Officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, saw the events leading up to the collision, or captured footage on dash cam.
