CCTV Images Released in Holbury Shoplifting Investigation
Police have released CCTV images of a woman they wish to speak to in connection with a series of shoplifting incidents in Holbury.
The incidents took place at the Co-op store located next to the service station on Long Lane. According to Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary, the thefts occurred on three separate occasions: Friday 23 May, Wednesday 28 May, and Thursday 29 May. In total, approximately £111 worth of goods were stolen during these incidents.
Description Released
The woman, captured on CCTV, is described as:
• White
• Aged approximately 25 years
• Approximately 5ft 4ins tall
• Large build
• Wearing a white jacket, red dress and white shoes
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary are urging the public to come forward if they recognise the woman in the images or have any information that could assist with the investigation.
“We believe the woman in these images may be able to help us with our investigation, and we are keen to speak with her,” said a police spokesperson.
Police are also appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during the dates in question, or who may have relevant CCTV, dash cam, mobile phone, or doorbell footage.
