Man in His 50s Dies in Single-Vehicle Collision Near New Alresford

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal collision near New Alresford yesterday morning (Saturday, 25 October).

Officers were called at around 10.35am to reports of a single-vehicle collision near the roundabout close to Whitehill Lane.

Emergency services attended the scene, but a motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary is now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.

Investigators are particularly keen to identify and speak with the driver of a white van that was in the area at the time, as they may have information which could assist the investigation.
