Manhunt Underway for Escaped Eastleigh Man James Poole
Hampshire Police have issued a public appeal for assistance in locating 31 year old James Poole, who escaped custody earlier this week.
Poole was being presented at a court hearing on Wednesday, 9 July, when he reportedly absconded from custody. Since the escape, officers have launched a series of enquiries in an attempt to trace his whereabouts but have so far been unsuccessful.
James Poole is described as white, approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall, of stocky build, with ginger hair.
“We are now turning to the public for assistance in locating James,” a spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said. “If anyone has seen him or has any information about where he is, please get in touch.”
Members of the public who spot James Poole are urged to contact police by calling 101 and quoting reference number 44250304477.
Police also issued a firm reminder that anyone found deliberately harbouring James or obstructing the investigation may be committing a criminal offence and could face arrest themselves.
Officers continue their efforts to locate Poole and are asking for vigilance across Eastleigh and surrounding areas.
