Woman Injured in E-Scooter Collision on Thomas Lewis Way, Southampton

A woman has been taken to hospital following a collision involving a car and a rented e-scooter in Southampton earlier today.

Hampshire Police confirmed they were called to Thomas Lewis Way at 11.49am this morning (Saturday 6 September) after receiving reports of the incident. The crash involved a female e-scooter rider and a car.

The woman sustained an injury to her arm and was taken to hospital for treatment. Her current condition has not been disclosed.

As a result of the collision, Thomas Lewis Way northbound was closed between St Deny’s Road and Portswood Road to allow emergency services to deal with the scene. The road has since been reopened.
