Two Arrested After Jet Washer Theft in Totton

A 19 year old man from Totton has been arrested in connection with the theft of two jet washers from a business on Calmore Industrial Estate.

The theft was reported to have taken place on Thursday, 25 September. Officers from the New Forest Priority Crime Team made the arrest on Wednesday, 15 October, on suspicion of handling stolen goods and theft.

The man was also arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference following a separate incident on Rufus Gardens, Totton, on Friday, 26 September. He has since been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.

An 18 year old man, also from Totton, was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and has been released under investigation.

Police confirmed that the two jet washers have been recovered and will be returned to their rightful owner.
