Officers Seek Man in Connection With Robbery at Southampton Go Outdoors Store

Police are appealing for information following a robbery at the Go Outdoors store on Third Avenue in Millbrook, Southampton.

The incident occurred just before midday on Wednesday, 16 July, when a man reportedly stole a tent from the outdoor retail store. When challenged by a member of staff, the man is said to have threatened her before leaving the scene.

Since the report, officers from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary have been conducting a number of enquiries. They have now released an image of a man they would like to speak with in connection with the incident.

The man is described as white, approximately 5ft 8ins tall, and believed to be in his late 30s to early 40s. He was wearing a cap and a grey jacket at the time of the incident.

Police believe the man pictured could assist them with their investigation and are urging him—or anyone who recognises him—to come forward.
