Suspicious Vehicles Lead to Drug Arrests in Boyatt Wood

A routine patrol by Eastleigh’s newly formed Neighbourhood Enforcement Team (NET) resulted in two drug-related offences in Boyatt Wood yesterday (Thursday, 7 August).

While patrolling near the Boyatt Wood shops, the NET Sergeant noticed two vehicles parked in a manner that appeared unusual for the area. The occupants’ behaviour raised further suspicion, prompting officers to investigate.

Following enquiries at the scene:
• One individual was issued an outcome for possession of drugs.
• Another was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply.

Police have not released further details about those involved.

The Eastleigh District NET, recently established to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour, emphasised that seemingly small signs-such as unusual vehicle activity-can sometimes lead to uncovering serious offences. Officers are urging residents to report anything that appears out of place.
