Portsmouth Man Charged and Remanded Following Botley Incidents

A 30 year old man from Portsmouth has been charged in connection with a series of incidents reported in Botley earlier this week.

Toby Michael Glew, of Milton Road, has been formally charged with burglary, theft from a motor vehicle, and two counts of fraud by false representation.

The charges relate to reported incidents that occurred in the early hours of Monday, 7 July, in the Botley area. Following an investigation, Glew was arrested and brought before Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday, 11 July).

During the hearing, he was remanded in custody and is due to appear next at Portsmouth Crown Court on Monday, 11 August.
