Three Arrested in Hampshire Rural Burglary Investigation

Police investigating a series of rural burglaries across parts of Hampshire have arrested three men in connection with the offences.

The Northern Area Crime Team launched an investigation after receiving reports of thefts on 35 separate occasions from rural locations. Items stolen included quad bikes, pick-up trucks, vans, plants, gardening equipment and power tools.

The burglaries are believed to have taken place between June and December in the East Hampshire, Hart, Rushmoor, Test Valley and Winchester districts.

Officers carried out warrants at addresses in Yateley, Hook and Bracknell on Tuesday 16 December as part of the investigation. Three men were arrested during the operation.

A 32-year-old man from Bracknell was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary other than a dwelling with intent to steal, and conspiracy to steal from another. A 30-year-old man from Hook and a 27-year-old man from Yateley were both arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary other than a dwelling with intent to steal.

All three men have been released on police bail with conditions while officers continue their enquiries.
