Police Release Images After Attempted Shoplifting at Everton Nurseries

Police have released CCTV images of two individuals they wish to speak to following an attempted shoplifting incident at a garden centre in Everton last month.

The incident occurred at Everton Nurseries on Christchurch Road at around 11.45am on Friday, 11 July. According to police, a man and a woman entered the premises via Farmers Walk, selected several items, and passed them through a fence into a nearby car park.

Staff intervened before any goods were taken, and the pair left the scene.

Officers are now appealing to the public to help identify the man and woman pictured in CCTV footage.

A police spokesperson said:

“We are issuing images of two people we would like to speak to in connection with this incident. If you know who these individuals are, or have any information that could help with our investigation, please contact us.”
