Police Release Image After Assault at Lymington High Street Store
Police are appealing for the public’s help in identifying a woman they wish to speak to in connection with an assault that took place at a store in Lymington.
The incident occurred at around 11.45am on Saturday, 23 August, at the Between The Lines store on Lymington High Street.
According to Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary, a female staff member was assaulted by a woman who was attempting to leave the shop. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Since the report was made, officers have been conducting enquiries and have now released an image of a woman they believe may be able to help them understand more about what happened.
“We believe the woman shown in the image may have information that could assist our investigation,” a police spokesperson said. “We are urging her, or anyone who recognises her, to contact us.”
