Police Release CCTV Images Following Shoplifting Incidents at Hedge End B&Q

Police have released CCTV images of two men they wish to identify in connection with two incidents of shoplifting and attempted shoplifting at the B&Q store on Charles Watts Way, Hedge End.

The first incident occurred between 6:50pm and 7:05pm on Wednesday 7 May, during which an attempt was made to steal a hot tub, barbecue, and shower pump, with a combined value of £1,099. The second incident took place between 10:25am and 10:40am on Friday 9 May, when a Salamander shower pump valued at £349 was reported stolen.

Both men are believed to have been travelling in a black Ford Transit.

Descriptions Released

Police have issued the following descriptions of the two men:
• Man 1:
• White, around 40 years old
• Approximately 6ft tall, clean shaven
• Wearing a light grey cap, black Emporio Armani T-shirt, black jogging bottoms, and black trainers
• Has a tattoo on his right arm

• Man 2:
• White, around 35 years old
• Approximately 6ft tall, with short brown hair and a short brown beard
• Has tattoos on his arms and left leg
• Wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts, black gilet, and black trainers with white trim

Appeal for Information

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary is urging anyone who recognises the men or who may have witnessed suspicious activity at the time of the incidents to come forward.

Anyone with information, including CCTV, dashcam, mobile, or doorbell footage, is asked to contact police by calling 101, or reporting online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website, quoting incident number 44250202312.
