Police Release CCTV Image After Public Order Incident in Marchwood

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following a public order incident in Marchwood earlier this month.

The incident occurred at around 2.15pm on Thursday, 9 October, on Main Road, near the Premier convenience store.
According to Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary, an unknown man verbally threatened a man in his 80s, stating that he would be assaulted if seen again.

Officers have since launched an appeal to identify the man pictured in connection with the investigation.

He is described as white, aged between 25 and 35, of slight, athletic build, with dark hair and possibly moustache or stubble.

Police believe the man in the CCTV image may have vital information that could help their enquiries.

A spokesperson for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary said:

“We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows her identity, to get in touch with us.
Also, if you witnessed anything of the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone or dash cam footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
