Man Sought After E-Scooter Incident in Southampton

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following an incident involving an e-scooter in Southampton in the early hours of Friday morning.

The event occurred around 4am on Friday, 18 July, on London Road, when officers witnessed an e-scooter rider collide with a wall before continuing to ride through a group of people. Despite police attempting to stop the individual, the rider failed to comply and left the scene.

As part of their ongoing investigation, Hampshire Constabulary has issued an appeal for information and released a CCTV image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Members of the public who recognise the individual, or who may have witnessed the incident, are urged to contact police.
