Appeal for Witnesses Following Early Morning Assault in Southampton

Police are appealing for information following an early morning assault that left a man in his 20s with head injuries.

The incident occurred at around 2.45am on Saturday, 12 July, on Townhill Way in Southampton. According to Hampshire Constabulary, the victim was approached by two unknown males before being punched, sustaining minor injuries to his head.

Emergency services attended the scene, and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident, was in the area at the time, or may have seen or heard anything suspicious. Police are also asking for anyone with relevant CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage to come forward.
