Appeal to Identify Man After Fraudulent Card Use in Bitterne
Hampshire Constabulary has released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a bank card theft in Bitterne.
An investigation is underway after a woman accidentally dropped her bank card at the Post Office in Bitterne, Southampton, on Friday 4 July at around 3pm. Shortly afterwards, the card was used without the owner’s permission to purchase items at various stores.
Officers are now seeking the public’s help in identifying a man captured on CCTV, who they believe may have information that could assist their enquiries.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said:
“We are issuing a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to. If you recognise this individual, or have any information that could assist our investigation, please get in touch.”
