Images Released Following Assault on Couple in Southampton

Police have released images of two individuals they wish to speak with following a reported assault on a couple in Southampton city centre.

The incident took place at around 9.15pm on Saturday, 21 June, on Above Bar Street. A man and a woman were walking together when they were approached by two unknown males. The suspects are said to have punched and pushed the couple, before fleeing the scene.

Officers are now appealing to the public to help identify the individuals shown in the released CCTV images, as they may have information that could assist with the ongoing investigation.

A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary spokesperson said:

“If anyone recognises these people, or has any information about this incident, please get in touch.”
