Elderly Man Seriously Injured in Fawley Collision

An elderly man has been seriously injured following a collision involving a white van in Fawley on Friday evening.

The incident occurred at around 5.10pm on 28 November outside the Esso garage on Hampton Lane. The pedestrian, a 90 year old man, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.

Police have launched an appeal for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward. Officers are particularly keen to hear from motorists who were travelling in the areas of Hampton Lane, Blackfield Road or Exbury Road around the time of the incident and who may have dash-cam footage.
