Witness appeal after e-bike and pedestrian collide in Southampton park
Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision between an e-bike and a pedestrian in Southampton left a man with serious injuries.
The incident happened at around 8.30pm on Wednesday, 18 February, in Palmerston Park.
A 49-year-old man who was riding the e-bike sustained broken ribs and a fractured pelvis. He is receiving treatment for his injuries. The pedestrian, a 25-year-old man, suffered a minor injury to his elbow.
Officers are now urging anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dashcam, CCTV or mobile phone footage from the area at the time, to come forward.
