Bicycles Recovered After Southampton Theft Arrest
Police in Southampton are appealing for the public’s help to identify the owners of several bicycles recovered following a recent arrest in the city centre.
Officers from the Southampton City Centre Unit arrested a man in connection with the theft of pedal cycles. Subsequent searches at his address led to the recovery of a number of additional bicycles, which officers believe may have been stolen.
Images of the recovered bikes have now been released, and police are urging anyone who recognises them to come forward.
Anyone who believes one of the bicycles belongs to them, or who knows the rightful owner, is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 44250554923. Proof of ownership will be required before any property can be returned.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the thefts.
