Appeal to Identify Woman Following Shoplifting at Hedge End Toy Store
Police are appealing for the public’s help to identify a woman in connection with reported shoplifting incidents at Smyths Toys in Hedge End.
The incidents took place at the store on Tollbar Way between 2pm and 2.15pm on Wednesday, 26 November. Officers say an unknown woman is reported to have entered the store on three occasions, stealing items valued at approximately £450.
Following the thefts, the woman is believed to have left the area in a Vauxhall Corsa.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary has released images of a woman they believe may be able to assist with their investigation. Officers are urging the woman herself, or anyone who recognises her, to come forward.
