Appeal Launched After Shop Worker Assaulted at Southampton Sports Direct

Police are appealing for information following an assault at the Sports Direct store on Above Bar Street in Southampton.

The incident occurred at around 5pm on Friday, 10 October, when a man reportedly became aggressive towards staff during a dispute over a return. During the confrontation, a staff member was struck in the face, sustaining minor injuries.

As part of ongoing enquiries, Hampshire Police have released images of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident. Officers are urging anyone who recognises the individual, or who may have information that could assist the investigation, to come forward.
