Appeal for Help Tracing Man Wanted Over Fuel Theft Incidents in Hedge End

Hampshire Police have issued an appeal to the public as officers continue efforts to locate 26 year old Jonathan Ward, who is wanted in connection with three incidents of making off without payment from a Sainsbury’s fuel station in Hedge End.

The incidents, which took place in August, involved a total of approximately £800 worth of fuel.

Ward is described as white, around 6ft tall, of slim build, with dark brown hair.

Despite following several lines of enquiry, officers have so far been unable to find him and are now asking anyone with information to come forward. Members of the public are urged not to approach him, but instead contact police immediately on 999, quoting incident number 44250389376.

Police have additionally reminded the public that anyone who knowingly assists Ward in avoiding arrest may be committing an offence.
