Wanted Offender Luke Thorpe Could Be Off the Island
Police on the Isle of Wight are appealing to the public for information as they continue the search for 35 year old Luke Thorpe, who is wanted on recall to prison.
Officers say they have been following multiple lines of enquiry but have so far been unable to locate him. They are now urging anyone who may have seen Thorpe or knows of his whereabouts to come forward.
Thorpe has known links to Newport, Ryde and Cowes, though police believe he may have travelled off the Island.
He is described as 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, with brown straight hair, blue eyes, and a beard. He also has tattoos on his arms and neck.
Members of the public are warned not to approach him.
Anyone with information or sightings is asked to call 999, quoting 44250511505.
Information can also be submitted online through the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website.
Alternatively, details can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via the charity’s online form.
Police have also reminded the public that harbouring a wanted individual, or deliberately obstructing attempts to locate him, may constitute a criminal offence.
Anyone who can assist is urged to contact authorities immediately.
