Police Release Image in Bid to Identify Man Following Suspicious Incident in Dibden Purlieu
Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a suspicious incident in Dibden Purlieu.
The incident took place on the evening of Friday 16 January on Heatherstone Avenue.
It was reported that an unknown man repeatedly called at an address and attempted to persuade the female resident that she required work to be carried out on her roof.
No work was undertaken and no money was exchanged.
The man officers would like to identify is described as being aged between 40 and 50 years old, with short dark hair, and wearing a hooded waterproof jacket. He was reportedly in the company of a child aged between eight and 10 years.
Police believe the man pictured may be able to assist with their enquiries and are urging him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.
