Police Release CCTV Images After Power Tools and Plumbing Goods Stolen from Hedge End Wickes
Police have released CCTV images of three men, along with a description of a fourth, as part of an investigation into two high-value shoplifting incidents at Wickes on Manaton Way, Hedge End.
The incidents occurred on Thursday 12 June and Saturday 14 June, during which £2,600 worth of DEWALT power tools and £400 worth of plumbing products were reported stolen from the store.
Investigators are appealing to the public to help identify four men seen in the area at the time, who they believe could assist with the ongoing enquiry.
The men are described as follows:
• Man 1: White, around 20 years old, approximately 5ft 10ins tall. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, a Scruffs-branded gilet, khaki shorts, a grey long-sleeved top, and black trousers.
• Man 2: White, in his 20s, also about 5ft 10ins tall with a beard. He was wearing a bright red baseball cap and a Scruffs gilet.
• Man 3: White, approximately 50 years old, of large build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a Scruffs gilet, khaki shorts — and notably, no clothing underneath the gilet.
• Man 4: White, approximately 18 years old, around 5ft 10ins tall with dark brown hair. He was wearing a Scruffs gilet and dark trousers.
