Police Release CCTV Image in Holbury Co-op Theft Investigation

Police have released a CCTV image as part of an ongoing investigation into a theft at the Co-op store on Long Lane in Holbury.
The incident occurred at approximately 12.15pm on Monday, 2 June, when a wallet was reported stolen from one of the checkout areas. The wallet contained several bank cards and identification documents.
Officers from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary are appealing to the public for help in identifying a woman captured on CCTV in connection with the theft. They have described the woman as being in her 20s or 30s and was seen accompanied by a teenage boy at the time of the incident.
A spokesperson for the police said:
“We believe the woman in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge her, or anyone who knows her identity, to get in touch with us.”
Members of the public who were in the area at the time, witnessed the incident, or may have relevant footage from CCTV, mobile phones, dash cams or doorbell cameras, are also encouraged to come forward.
