Drugs and Cash Seized
During the operation, multiple stop and searches were carried out, leading to the seizure of cannabis. Officers said those involved were dealt with through community resolutions or reported to court.
In a separate incident, Sgt Webber from the NET team spotted a woman who had failed to appear in court the previous day. After spending 24 hours on the run, she was swiftly detained and arrested.
Later in the day, plainclothes officers identified a group of around 10 people believed to be waiting to buy drugs. An 18 year old man from Southampton was seen making hand-to-hand exchanges, prompting officers to step in with support from the NET team.
Police recovered a large quantity of cash and around 70 individual deals of suspected crack cocaine and heroin. The suspect remains in custody for questioning.
