Police Operation Nets Multiple Arrests and Drug Seizures in Eastleigh and Hedge End

A coordinated police operation in the Eastleigh and Hedge End District has resulted in multiple arrests, significant drug seizures, and the removal of an illegally operated vehicle from local roads.

Officers from Eastleigh’s Neighbourhood Enforcement Team (NET), working alongside Hampshire Constabulary’s Neighbourhood Policing Team and the Proactive Roads Policing Unit, targeted criminal activity linked to the road network in a series of planned enforcement actions yesterday (15 September).

In total, four separate incidents led to:
• Three individuals arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs
• One individual arrested for drug driving
• Two suspects also found to be driving either without insurance or while disqualified
• A large quantity of drugs and cash seized as evidence
• One vehicle with incorrect documentation seized and removed from circulation

The operation is being hailed as a significant success in disrupting criminal activity and ensuring safer roads for the community.

“This is a powerful example of proactive policing in action—disrupting criminal networks and keeping our roads and communities safer,” said a spokesperson for Eastleigh’s a Neighbourhood Enforcement Team.

The arrests and seizures form part of ongoing efforts to crack down on drug-related crime and unsafe driving across Hampshire, with authorities promising continued vigilance and further action.

Police are urging members of the public to continue reporting suspicious activity and unsafe driving. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Hampshire Constabulary.
