Police Appeal for Information after shoplifting incident and store damage at Millbrook Tesco
Police are appealing for information following a reported shoplifting incident at a supermarket in Millbrook.
The incident is said to have taken place shortly before 7.30pm on Thursday 5 February at the Tesco store on Tebourba Way. According to reports, a man and a woman entered the premises, selected several items and attempted to conceal them.
Members of staff became aware of the situation and challenged the pair. During the confrontation, one staff member sustained a minor injury to their hand while attempting to recover the goods. The two individuals then left the store without paying.
Approximately 30 minutes later, police say the same man returned to the location and caused damage to the store’s security podium before leaving the scene again.
As part of ongoing enquiries, officers have released images of two individuals they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
