Police release CCTV images after £483 worth of chocolates stolen from Chandler’s Ford Tesco

Police have released CCTV images of a man and a woman they want to speak to as part of an investigation into a shoplifting incident in Chandler’s Ford.

The theft is reported to have taken place at the Tesco Express on Ashdown Road between 4.25pm and 4.30pm on Monday, 29 December, when £483 worth of Ferrero Rocher chocolates were allegedly stolen.

Officers believe the man and woman captured in the images may be able to assist with enquiries.

The man is described as Asian, aged between 30 and 45, of average height, with a black beard. He was wearing a black waist-length puffer jacket, a blue hooded top, grey jogging bottoms and white trainers.

The woman is also described as Asian, aged between 30 and 45, of average height. She was wearing a long black puffer jacket, scarf, black T-shirt, black leggings, white trainers and ankle-high socks.

Police are urging the individuals pictured, or anyone who recognises them, to come forward. They are also keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time.
