Man summonsed to court after school coach crash on M27

A man has been summonsed to appear in court following a single-vehicle collision involving a coach carrying school students on the M27.

The incident happened at around 5am on 25 September 2025, when a 51-seat coach left the carriageway and came to rest in undergrowth on a roundabout near junction 2 at Ower.

At the time of the collision, the coach was carrying 29 school students and five adults, including the driver. The driver and one other adult sustained minor injuries. No injuries were reported among the students.

Police enquiries have since led to 48-year-old Brett Jarvis, of Honey Hill in Lambourn, being charged with driving without due care and attention.

He is due to appear at Aldershot Magistrates’ Court on 23 February.
