Man Sought in Connection With Shoplifting Incident at Totton Morrisons
Police are appealing to the public for help identifying a man they wish to speak to in connection with a shoplifting incident at the Morrisons supermarket on Spruce Drive in Totton.
The incident occurred between 7:55am and 8:05am on Friday, 15 August, during which £162 worth of toilet paper and soft drinks were reportedly stolen from the store.
Officers have now released images of a man they believe may have information that could assist their investigation. They are urging the individual, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.
“We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us,” a spokesperson for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary said. “We would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed anything of the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone or dash cam footage which could aid our investigation.”
