Fatal Crash in Bishop’s Waltham Claims Life of Local Motorcyclist
A man in his 60s has died following a collision in Bishop’s Waltham this afternoon (Thursday 14 August).
Emergency services were called at 2.12pm to reports of a crash on the B2177 Winchester Road involving a blue Land Rover Discovery and a red Ducati motorcycle.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the motorcyclist, who was from Bishop’s Waltham, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed.
Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and are urging anyone who saw the incident or has relevant dash cam footage to come forward.
Officers are particularly keen to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen either vehicle prior to the collision. Your information could be vital to the investigation.
