Family Pays Tribute to Man Killed in Coxford Shooting

The family of a man who was fatally shot in the Coxford area of Southampton have paid tribute to him.

Police were called at around 8pm on Wednesday 11 February to reports that a man had suffered a gunshot wound at a property on Conifer Road. Officers quickly attended the scene, where a 45-year-old man was found with serious injuries. He was later identified as Piotr Pruszak, a Polish national living in Southampton.

Despite receiving medical attention, Piotr was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family released a heartfelt tribute, saying:

“With deep sadness we are saying our last goodbye to beloved son and brother Piotr. You will live forever in our memories and in the love we share.”

They also added a message in Polish:

“Z głębokim żalem żegnają rodzice i brat kochanego syna Piotra.”
(With deep sorrow, his parents and brother say goodbye to their beloved son Piotr.)

Three people have been arrested in connection with Piotr’s death and remain in police custody.
