CCTV Released After £254 Worth of Soft Toys Stolen from Winchester Gift Shop
Police have released CCTV images as part of an investigation into the theft of more than £200 worth of soft toys from a shop in Winchester.
The incident was reported at around 2.10pm on Saturday 31 January at the Cathedral Gift Shop in The Close. Multiple Wrendale soft toys were taken, with the total value of the stolen items amounting to £254.
Officers say they have carried out a number of enquiries and are now appealing to the public for help in identifying a man they wish to speak with.
The man is described as white, aged between 55 and 60 years old, approximately 5ft 8ins tall, with a large build and grey hair. He was wearing a blue raincoat, a blue and green tartan scarf, a beige sweater, a black cap and was carrying a red backpack at the time.
