CCTV Images Released in Totton Co-op Robbery Investigation
Police have released CCTV images of two men they wish to speak to in connection with a robbery at a Co-op store on Salisbury Road in Totton.
The incident occurred between 12:25pm and 12:30pm on Wednesday 3 September, during which approximately £70 worth of laundry detergent was stolen. According to police, staff members were verbally abused, and one was pushed during the robbery.
Investigators have issued descriptions of the two men they are keen to speak with.
One man is described as:
• White
• In his 40s
• Around 6ft tall
• Wearing black trainers, black Under Armour jogging bottoms, a black zip-up jacket, a black coat, and a black Nike cap
The other man is described as:
• White
• In his 40s
• Around 6ft tall
• Wearing black and white trainers, black cargo trousers, a dark green zip-up jacket, and a camouflage cap
Police believe the individuals captured on CCTV may have vital information that could assist their investigation. They are urging the men, or anyone who recognises them, to come forward.
In a statement, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary said:
“We believe the men in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge them, or anyone who knows their identity, to get in touch.”
Anyone who witnessed the incident, noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time, or has relevant CCTV, dash cam, or mobile phone footage is also being asked to contact police.
