Appeal launched after moped rider seriously injured in Southampton collision

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a serious collision in the Itchen area of Southampton that left a man with significant injuries.

Officers were called at around 7.30am on Tuesday 3 February to reports of a collision on Manor Road North, at the junction with Wodehouse Road.

The incident involved a grey Vauxhall Corsa and a black Lexmoto moped. The rider of the moped, a man in his 20s, suffered a serious leg injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have relevant dash cam or CCTV footage from the area at the time.
