Appeal for Witnesses After Hedge End Turnpike Pavilion Vandalised in Overnight Burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a reported burglary at the Turnpike Pavilion on Turnpike Way, Hedge End, which occurred overnight between Saturday 13 September and Sunday 14 September.
According to Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary, entry was forcibly gained to the premises during the night, resulting in significant damage to the building. Officers say that doors, cupboards, crockery, and even a toilet were damaged during the incident.

An investigation is now underway to establish the full circumstances of the break-in. Officers are reviewing local CCTV and carrying out enquiries in the area, but are urging members of the public to come forward with any information that may assist.

“We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time, or may have relevant video footage,” a police spokesperson said.

This includes footage from doorbell cameras, dash cams, or private CCTV systems in the area around Turnpike Way during the relevant timeframe.
