Witnesses Urged to Come Forward After Assault at Southampton Cocktail Bar

Police have launched an appeal for information following an assault at a city centre bar.

The incident occurred at around 11:30pm on Saturday, 6 September, at Rita’s Cocktail Bar on Oxford Street. Officers say a woman sustained minor injuries after reportedly being punched by another woman in what is believed to have been an unprovoked attack.

As part of their ongoing investigation, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary have released an image of a woman they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

The woman is described as Asian, aged between 20 and 30, of medium build, with dark hair.
